Hapa [hap·a]: In the Hawaiian language, a person of mixed-race heritage who identifies racially and culturally as both white and of Asian descent.
Being born and raised in Hawaii, a person’s ethnic background is an identity, an enigma of sorts.
My journey took me all over the world, from the Persian Gulf nation of Oman, to the United Kingdom, Egypt, Thailand, Qatar and Dubai.
About two and a half years ago, my journey brought me to the capital of the world: New York City. Being a marketing and public relations hotelier by education, somehow my journey has led me to be around some of the biggest entertainment stars of today.
After a short stint with TMZ (yeah, I know), I have moved into freelancing with photography and videography. I do not label myself as a paparazzo, but rather a photo and videojournalist. Stories are meant to be told and fashion cannot be ignored.
